EISNC offering 100 $20 feline spay/neuter certificates

The East Idaho Spay Neuter Coalition is offering 100 more $20 feline spay/neuter vouchers for residents of Bonneville County, the city of Shelley and the city of Rigby starting Wednesday.

This event will take place at Idaho Falls Animal Services (IFAS) located at 2450 Hemmert Avenue on Dec. 19 at 9 a.m. This is a first come, first served event.

IFAS normally opens its doors at 10 a.m., so the first hour is specifically designed to issue these certificates.

Here’s how you claim your certificate:

Participants must come to IFAS morning of December 19. This is a first come, first served event. EISNC will assist participants in choosing a local veterinarian and secure an appointment on the spot. Participants must reside in Bonneville County or in the cities of Rigby or Shelley. Participants don’t need to bring money to IFAS. Participants will pay $20 to the Vet at the time of their appointment and will work directly with the Vet on any other needs such as vaccinations. The local Veterinarians will then bill EISNC for the balance of the Spay or Neuter Procedure. Volunteers will make sure participants are well informed when they leave IFAS that Wednesday morning.

This is a very special event for EISNC because the coalition is celebrating a new grand total of 1,000 certificates in the two and a half years since the coalition began.

EISNC would like to deeply thank the many people who have attended its fundraising events such as Spayghetti No Balls dinner, Taco Bout dinner and Wine for Whiskers.

The long-term goal for EISNC is to assist Idaho Falls in becoming a No Kill City – a goal which has been reached for dogs quite a number of years ago.
