Aberdeen man dies in plane crash

An Aberdeen man, identified as Daniel Angus, 42, was killed in a small plane crash Monday morning.

Bingham County Sheriff Craig Rowland said his plane was reported down at around 8 a.m. A passerby spotted the plane at around 9:15 a.m. just outside the Aberdeen Airport.

The cause of the crash is unknown.

Angus has a home in Aberdeen and operates a business in Utah.

At this time, the area is closed to all traffic while pending an investigation.
