Emergency crews pay down Caribou County student lunch debts

Three Caribou County school districts got some cash assistance from Caribou County Fire and EMS.

The emergency crews held a Holiday Party last week. 40 members helped raise $300 for a community project. The Soda Springs, Grace and North Gem school districts will each receive a $100 check.

The money will go towards paying down any school lunch debts that their students may hold. A spokesman for the group said, “We believe that the students should never have to worry about whether they will be able to eat school lunch or go hungry. What better time of the year to help pay off those debts so they may go into their new semester and new year worry free about the money owed towards their lunch accounts!”
