Local boy receives hearing aids

A local boy received the gift of hearing this holiday season.

12-year-old Jordan Radford received two hearing aids Monday from the Pocatello Beltone Hearing Care Center.

The center recently held a food drive with Irving Middle School.

The school did so well they were picked as the regional winner, and Radford was given a new hearing aid.

“I asked the school if they knew of any of the students or staff that had a hearing loss because we would love to give this hearing aid to somebody there at the school and so the local audiologist went through and then they gave me Jordan’s name, and so today we were able to fit him with his pair of Amaze Hearing Aids,” said practitioner Sabrina Tallon.

The food drive that was done at Irving Middle School collected more than 600 items, and it was distributed to all of the middle schools in Pocatello and to ISU.
