Police seek cause of Idaho Falls woman’s death

An Idaho Falls woman was found dead at her home at around 6 p.m. in the 100 block of Irving on Tuesday, December 11.

According to Idaho Falls Police, they were called to the home of Gina Singer, 58, for a welfare check. They discovered the woman dead inside.

The woman’s body was transported to Boise for a forensic autopsy. Police say they are still awaiting the final results of the autopsy, including toxicology tests.

Police say they are not looking for any other people who might be involved and that there is no threat to the public.

Investigation is continuing.

Correction update: Police originally stated the date of the discovery as Thursday, December 6.
