Teton Pass to close for avalanche control

The Wyoming Department of Transportation plans to close Teton Pass beginning at 3 a.m. Wednesday for avalanche control.

But, WYDOT said reduced visibility, winter driving conditions, and increasing avalanche hazard may force an earlier closure. There will be no overnight parking allowed at the summit of Teton Pass and Coal Creek and the closure will be strictly enforced.
