Warrant arrest leads to felony charge

The Ammon Division of the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office arrested Andrew Yon, 40, after they were called to the Ammon Walmart Saturday.

When deputies arrived, they learned that Yon was wanted on two separate Bonneville County misdemeanor warrants for probation violations.

Yon was arrested without incident, but deputies found a syringe in his possession containing a liquid believed to be methamphetamine. A second syringe, with a broken needle, was also found.

Yon was booked on the misdemeanor warrant as well as possession of drug paraphernalia and felony possession of methamphetamine.
