Christmas Forecast

With a disturbance approaching, 40-50% chance of snow for Snake River Plain. Higher probability for Jackson and higher elevations. Accumulations from less than an inch to 4″ in Mountains. Temps begin to warm from teens overnight to upper 20’s with moisture approaching with highs in the lower to mid 30’s.

Possibilities for a White Christmas remain uncertain due to a timing element and moisture placement, but don’t rule out snow flying through Christmas Eve and the 25th for select areas.

Temperatures after Christmas take a drastic drop into single digits overnight by Friday.
