Christmas Day Snow Totals and Advisory

With snow slowing through the afternoon, we have 30% chance of more snow flying tonight across the area. But it looks like we’re preparing for a white Christmas in Eastern Idaho. Lows tonight will be in the 20’s for the SRP, teens elsewhere with @30% chance of snow and light winds.

CHRISTMAS DAY: NWS has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for areas including Idaho Falls, Rigby, Recburg, Ashton, & Driggs from 11am Christmas Day to 5am Wednesday morning. With 1″-3″ of snow expected, travel conditions and roads may become hazardous. Highs will peak at freezing with more snwo expected tomorrow night, making travel difficult. Temps dipping into the teens causing any moisture to re-freeze.
