Five injured in crash between Driggs and Victor

Idaho State Police are investigating a crash that sent five to the hospital Monday night on Highway 33 between Driggs and Victor.

Kaitlyn Boyle of Prescott, Arizona, was driving south on Highway 33 in a Toyota Tacoma pickup.

Ryan Williams of Renton, Washington, was driving a Jeep Cherokee north at the same location.

The road was ice covered and Boyle lost control of her vehicle. Boyle’s pickup collided with Williams’ Jeep.

Boyle was the only person in her vehicle. Williams had three passengers in his vehicle.

They were: Tessa Grundler of Boise, Christy Williams of Moscow, and Liam Grundler of Helena, Montana.

All five people were wearing seatbelts. They were taken by ground ambulance to Teton Valley Hospital.

The highway was blocked for about three hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
