Winter Weather Advisory tonight and tomorrow
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for most of the
Snake River Plain starting tonight at 11 and extending through tomorrow. A storm will move in tonight after partly cloudy skies and just a few flurries throughout our viewing area during the day today.
The snow will begin late this evening around Stanley and spread east through the Snake
River Plain through the night and into tomorrow making the Thursday morning commute tricky with slippery snow covered roads.
We are expecting 2-3 inches in I-84, and 1-3 inches on 1-86 and I-15. Please allow extra time to get to your destination safely!
Temperatures today will top out in the mid to upper 20’s for most of us today, but after the storms move through tomorrow that’s when those temperatures will really drop with the highs only in the teens and some sub-zero overnight lows through the weekend.
