Some Rigby customers without power because of cracked power pole

Rocky Mountain Power said 146 customers in Rigby are without power while crews work to fix a pole.

Rocky Mountain Power said a car slid off the road and hit the power pole, cracking it.

Now, power is out while crews work on a temporary fix to get customers through Saturday night.

The company said power went off about 4:45 p.m. and should be back on by 7:30 p.m.

It said crews will be back on site Sunday to make a permanent repair to the power pole. So power will be shut off Sunday while crews work on the fix. Customers that will be affected will be called by Rocky Mountain Power customer service to let them know what time it will be off and for how long.
