Idaho million-dollar raffle sells out

The Idaho Lottery has sold all 250,000 tickets in its traditional “Idaho $1,000,000 raffle” and the game has ended.

The last ticket was sold Friday afternoon. The lottery estimates 35% of the game’s tickets were sold in the final seven days of sales. It is the eleventh time the game has sold out.

The million dollar and other subsequent raffle winners will be announced Thursday at 9:59 p.m. Mountain Time.

In addition to the million dollar top prize there are two $10,000 prizes, 550 $200 prizes, and 6,800 prizes of $25.

This year’s raffle included ten early bird prices of $1,000 each. So far, only four of those prices have been claimed. Two were sold in eastern Idaho. The remaining six are:

000486 – sold at KJs Super Store in Malad
005689 – sold at Fred Meyer in Garden City
009269 – sold at Albertsons on Eagle Road and McMillan
015961 – sold at Walmart Fuel Center in Idaho Falls
019598 – sold at Big Smoke on Franklin Road in Nampa just off Idaho Center Blvd
025345 – sold at Big Smoke on 12th Avenue in Nampa

There are other unclaimed prizes in this year’s game, as well. Players will have 180 days after the January 3 draw to claim their prizes.

The “Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle” generated over $600,000 for beneficiaries, including Idaho Public Schools and the Permanent Building Fund.
