Idaho Falls native featured in “Muscle and Fitness” magazine

Idaho Falls native Michael Hildebrandt is making quite the name for himself internationally in body building, fitness and nutrition.

He is featured in the latest issue of “Muscle and Fitness” magazine .

Hildebrandt now lives in Boise, where he is the area fitness director for Axiom Gyms. But his passion for fitness began as a young boy in Idaho Falls.

“Growing up in Idaho Falls I was very involved in athletics, in fitness, in health and just and just wanted to be as active as possible,” Hildebrandt said. “After I moved away to college and graduated from athletics, I got really got interested in body building and decided to do my first bodybuilding competition. That really ignited my passion for fitness and health and just self-improvement in general.”

After doing well in more and more body building competitions, Hildebrandt also focused on learning more about health and fitness and nutrition and began to gain some sponsorships.

He has done appearances from Shanghai, China to Cologne Germany for Dymatize nutrition supplements as well as representing Body Building.com. He’s also a fitness model, which led to his article in “Muscle and Fitness” magazine.

“This article’s called ‘Emergency Shred’ and it’s for those people coming into the new year that are looking for that opportunity have a little more guidance on how they can achieve their best transformation possible,” Hildebrandt explained.

What’s most rewarding for Hildebrandt is seeing how fitness impacts lives.

“Making a physical transformation goes far beyond your body and how you look,” Hildebrandt said. “It really comes down to your mental health, your psychological health, building confidence and really structuring your life to understand that you can be successful in whatever you put your mind to.”
