Development Workshop earns accreditation

Development Workshop, Inc. of Idaho Falls has received a 3-year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). It is the highest level awarded by the international organization.

Mike O’Bleness, President and CEO of Development Workshop said “We are very pleased with the survey results. The accreditation process keeps us focused on the right things. I’m very proud of our staff and they are to be commended for their dedication to providing the highest quality of service to the individuals we serve.”

CARF President and CEO Dr. Brian J. Boon said the accreditation applies to seven distinct rehabilitation services provided by Development Workshop.

The workshop has provided a broad group of services to assist people developing independence and self-reliance for nearly 50 years.

The agency operates offices in Idaho Falls, Rexburg, and Salmon. It serves more than 500 people annually.
