Pocatello Police to meet with parents

The Pocatello Police Department will host the first of two “Parents Night Out” tonight at 6:30.

The events are planned to provide the community with information and training on issues affecting young people in the community.

Tonight’s 45-minute presentation will focus on Mental Health Awareness. Officers will be on hand to help answer questions or concerns of parents.

It will be held at the Outer Limits Fun Zone at 1800 Garrett Way. Parents may bring children who are old enough to play on the Fun Zone toys or play miniature golf for free. The DARE Jeep will also be there.

The second session will be Tuesday, February 19 at 6:30 p.m. That event will focus on the internet and social media safety.
