Pocatello seeking public comment on Ross Park master plan

It’s quiet around Ross Park this time of year, but its a big topic of conversation.

Pocatello City Council met with Pocatello Parks and Recreation Department Tuesday to go over future plans for the Park.

They plan to add new additions to make it more accessible to visitors. It’s only in its initial planning phase, but they are looking for public comment. The whole plan could take up to 10 years to implement, but they hope to attract more people to the area.

“It’s our most popular park already. It’s the host the vast majority to the yearly community events,” Pocatello Parks and Recreation director John Banks said. “Looking forward we want to improve it and make it the best community experience possible.”

They are accepting public comment until June. You can see the master plan HERE.
