START to run one Teton Valley bus Tuesday night

TUESDAY:

START Bus service will again offer only one commuter run from Jackson to Teton Valley tonight. Because of additional snowfall, current weather, and road conditions, Idaho passengers can expect one bus to leave the Snow King Center at 5:05 p.m.

Three other buses will not run.

The shortage of buses is due to the morning closure of Teton Pass.

START moved up departure time so that riders would not get home later in the evening.

Star Valley commuter runs are not impacted and should remain on schedule.

Because of adverse weather, delays are possible on all START routes.

MONDAY:

Some START Bus commuters will have only one chance to get home tonight.

Teton Valley, Idaho passengers can expect only one returning bus. It will leave the Snow King Center at 6 p.m. The other three buses will not run Monday night. The shortage is due to the morning pass closure.

Star Valley commuter runs are not impacted

Due to the current weather and road conditions, passengers can expect potential delays on all START routes.

Passengers can sign up for START Rider Alerts, which immediately notify commuters if a bus stop is closed, a road is closed, or a specific route is impacted.
