More snow on the way

A potent Winter weather system is moving in for Wednesday and the rest of the week. Look for snow showers for much of Wednesday, a break Thursday morning, before more snow and rain hits Thursday afternoon. Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings have been posted for Idaho and Wyoming through the next couple of days.

Tonight: Scattered snow showers, with a low into the lower 20’s. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Wednesday: Snow showers with highs into the lower 30’s, with a south southwest wind 25 to 35 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Thursday: Rain and snow likely, with a high into the mid to upper 30’s. South wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Friday: Snow showers, with a high into the mid 30’s. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
