Partly to Mostly Cloudy and Breezy
A brief ridge of high pressure is working in today before another round of snow moves in for Wednesday and Thursday. We’ll see partly to mostly cloudy skies with breezy winds throughout the day. Snow moves in overnight again, though we could see a rain/snow mix at times down in the Magic Valley and southern Snake Plain. There is a lot of moisture moving in, so where temps stay near or below freezing, a lot of snow is expected.
Tuesday: Windy with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Highs in the 20’s and 30’s. South wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Wednesday: Snow with highs into the mid 30’s. South southwest wind 15 to 35 mph, with gusts as high as 50 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Thursday: Rain and snow likely with highs in the low to high 30’s.
