Semi-truck slides off highway near Rockford
Idaho State Police investigated a commercial vehicle property damage crash on Highway 39 at milepost 45 near Rockford around 9:06 p.m. Monday, February, 1, 2019.
54-year-old Derrell Love of Las Vegas, was driving a 2017 Freightliner southbound on Highway 39 when he lost control on icy roads.
The cab of the truck went off the left shoulder and the empty trailer blocked both lanes of travel for about two and a half hours.
The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police with assistance from Bingham County Sheriff’s Office.
