Rain and snow still in the forecast

A potent winter weather system is moving through for Thursday. Warmer temperatures will arrive before a cold front slides on on Friday. Look for more scattered rain and snow showers. Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings have been posted for Idaho and Wyoming through the next couple of days.

Tonight: Scattered snow and rain showers, with a low near 30 degrees. South wind 15 to 30 mph.

Thursday: Rain and snow likely, with a high into the upper 30’s and lower 40’s. South wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Friday: Snow showers, with a high into the mid 30’s.

Saturday: A 30 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high into the mid 20’s. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
