More Active Weather With Rain and Snow Today

We’ll see primarily rain for the valleys and snow for the mountains today. The western side of the Snake Plain has a winter weather advisory out till noon today, and 1-3 inches are possible. There still is a winter storm warming for the E. Highlands and Island Park region lasting into tomorrow, with more heavy snow throughout the next 24-36 hrs. Look for isolated snow showers and colder temps for the weekend.

Thursday: Rain and snow likely, with a high into the upper 30’s and lower 40’s. South wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%.

Friday: Snow showers, with a high into the mid 30’s.

Saturday: A 30 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high into the mid 20’s. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
