Freezing for a reason

A group of people in Rexburg took part in a 5k run out in the cold, but they were freezing for a reason.

They were raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The group did a 5k run in the freezing cold, followed by a fat tire bike race and then jumped in the freezing cold water for a water plunge. This was put together by a local Rexburg man who wanted to give back to the Make-A-Wish Foundation for helping his family during their time of need. “I have a special needs daughter and about two years ago we were granted a wish for her. This is my opportunity to give back to the make a wish foundation,” said Bryan Magleby, event coordinator. All the donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation will stay in Idaho.
