Idaho Falls man arrested on drug charges
A 29-year-old Idaho Falls man is in custody after Idaho Falls Police woke him up in a parked car at around 7:55 a.m. Monday.
Police said they were called to the 1400 block of West Broadway to investigate a man found sleeping in the driver’s seat of a vehicle and would not wake up. Police finally woke up Todd Shirley and got his permission to search the vehicle.
Inside, officers found 22.9 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, mushrooms and drug paraphernalia. More paraphernalia was found in his possession.
Shirley was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
