21-year-old arrested on variety of sexual assault charges

Madison County Sheriffs’ Deputies have arrested Connor Hammond, 21, on a variety of sexual assault charges.

Hammond was charged with rape of a 16-year-old victim and four additional charges of lewd or lascivious contact with a child under 16.

Further details about the arrest were withheld to protect the victim.

Hammond was in custody at the Madison County Jail pending $200,000 bond.
