Semi tips over near Sage Hill Exit

UPDATE 3/1/19 10:03 P.M.: Idaho State Police responded to an injury crash around 4:57 p.m., on the on and off ramps on the northbound side of I-15 at milepost 89, just south of Blackfoot.

65 year old Gaylen W. Clayson of Firth was driving north in a 2005 semi pulling a single trailer.

Clayson was getting off the interstate using the off ramp.

The semi and trailer overturned coming to rest in the road blocking the off and on ramp.

Clayson was taken by ground ambulance to Bingham Memorial Hospital, in Blackfoot.

Clayson was wearing a seat belt.

The road was blocked for about four hours.

ORIGINAL STORY: Law enforcement is responding to a semi-truck tipped carrying over bales of hay in Bingham County heading north on I-15, near milepost 89.

The crash is blocking both the northbound on and off ramps near the Sage Hill exit.
