Students build cabinets for school’s music programs

Technical Careers High School in Bonneville School District 93 is giving back to those around them.

Students built ukulele cabinets to store instruments for the district’s elementary schools. They are finishing up the last four cabinets and will be delivering them to schools by the end of next week.

“We’re super excited, we put our name on it and a plaque on there saying, ‘Proudly built by students in the construction program,'” said Kyle Wright, an instructor at Technical Careers High School. “I feel good about it and I know all the students feel good about it, too.”

It took the students only one trimester to make the cabinets.
