Man arrested for burglary

Idaho Falls Police Officers were dispatched to a business in the 800 block of Northgate Mile for a suspected burglary in process late Tuesday night.

As officers arrived, they were able to see movement through a window and then a suspect exiting the building and fleeing the property.

Officers pursued the suspect on foot to the stockyards. Additional officers and a Bonneville County Sherriff’s deputy arrived to assist and were able to apprehend the suspect at approximately 11:48 p.m. on the far side of the stockyard, as the suspect was attempting to cross the railroad tracks.

38-year-old Michael Bradsteen was arrested and booked into the Bonneville County Jail for burglary, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
