Iconic sign comes down

A piece of downtown Idaho Falls history came down Friday.

The iconic Ferrell’s Clothing sign was removed by Apollo Construction.

The 114-year-old building was bought by 100 Proof Properties which is renovating several historic downtown buildings.

Ferrell’s has been there since 1950, and the new owners don’t have a new tenant yet.

They plan to restore the building back to its original beauty first.

Ferrell’s has moved to the former David’s Bridal on Hitt Road next to Kiwi Loco.
