9th Annual Gate City Brewfest

Old Town Pocatello kicked off pre-spring with the much anticipated 9th annual Gate City Brewfest. Hundreds of beer drinkers flooded the streets to enjoy craft beer from across the country.

Eighteen bars and restaurants participated in the event. More than 40 breweries visiting Old Town, featuring 94 different craft beer. Event organizers believe there were more than 2,000 people who attended the event.

“So not only is it an economic boost for the community but its also a tourism event for our community,” Stephanie Palagi, executive director of Old Town Pocatello, said. “We’ve really been able to build and grow it for something that we’re really known for. Gate City Brewfest has been a great thing for Old Town, for Pocatello and for our community.”

If you didn’t get the chance to make this year’s event. Gate City Brewfest 2, will be on September 7th.
