2 suspects in custody in relation to Pocatello murder
UPDATE 3/21/19 12:25 p.m.: Pocatello police received information Wednesday that led them to some possible suspects in connection to the murder of 87-year-old Arlyne Koehler.
Police were able to track the suspects to Yuba County California. The Yuba County Sheriff’s Office was able to assist with the arrest, and two warrants were obtained for first-degree murder.
The first suspect has been identified as a juvenile male from Yuba City.
The second suspect has been identified as 18-year-old Dustin Alfaro of Marysville, California.Pocatello detectives are continuing work with detectives in California to investigate.
Police said they could not disclose information regarding a motive.

Authorities say there is no longer a threat to the public
The victim has been identified as 87-year-old Arlyne Koehler.

Pocatello Police are investigating the suspicious death of a person.
Police were called to 1055 McKinley Avenue at 7:39 p.m. Tuesday after a relative found Koehler’s body in the home.
Police are not releasing much information about the case, but are investigating the incident as a murder. The person was not identified.
There are no suspects in custody at this time.
They have asked anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area to contact detectives at 208-234-6121.
Authorities are also advising residents to be vigil and make sure their doors are locked.
Pocatello Police will be holding a press conference at 12:15 p.m. Thursday 21 for additional updates.
