Man arrested for 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor

Police arrested a 46-year-old Chubbuck resident on an outstanding felony warrant for 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor (possession of child pornography) Sunday.

Pocatello police arrested Donald J. Maberry Sr. after conducting a traffic stop in Pocatello.

This case initially came to the attention of the Chubbuck Police Department back in October of 2018, and officers have been working with Homeland Security Investigations since that time.

Chubbuck police obtained a warrant for Maberry’s arrest based on their investigation findings last Wednesday.

Maberry is currently being held at the Bannock County Detention Facility on a $25,000 bond.

At this point in the investigation, police do not believe any of Maberry’s victims have local ties to the community.
