3 arrested after search warrant served

Special Investigations Unit (SIU) detectives and the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team served a search warrant at a residence on the 800 block of Masters Dr. in Idaho Falls Wednesday around 6:30 a.m.

The search warrant was part of an ongoing investigation by the SIU team which is made up of Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office and Idaho Falls Police Department detectives.

Upon service of the search warrant, three adults were detained inside the residence and identified as 32-year-old William B. Thomson, 30-year-old Kasey C. Wornek and 23-year-old Julie M. Watson, all of Idaho Falls.

During the search, detectives located multiple items of drug paraphernalia that appeared to be used for smoking and/or ingesting heroin and methamphetamine.

All three subjects were transported to the Bonneville County Jail where they were booked on misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.

SIU detectives are continuing their investigation, and no further details are available at this time.
