Interviews set for District Judge vacancy

The Idaho Judicial Council will convene in Rexburg Tuesday to interview candidates seeking to replace Judge Greg Moeller.

Moeller was sworn in as a Justice to the Idaho Supreme Court in January.

The public is welcome to attend the interviews at the Madison County Courthouse beginning at 9 a.m.

The nominees and the scheduled time of their interview are:

(9 am ) Idaho Falls private attorney Jared Allen
(9:30 a.m.) 7th District Magistrate Judge James Barrett, Jr., of Challis
(10 a.m.) 7th District Magistrate Judge Steven Boyce, of Idaho Falls
(10:45 a.m.) Bonneville County Prosecuting Attorney Daniel Clark
(11:15 a.m.) Ammon Mayor and private attorney Sean Coletti
( 1:00 p.m.) 7th District Magistrate Judge Michelle Radford Mallard, of Idaho Falls
(1:30 p.m.) Idaho Falls private attorney Kipp Manwaring
(2:00 p.m.) Blackfoot private attorney Manuel T. Murdoch

The council has set time for deliberations of the candidates at 2:30 p.m.
