Fremont school board to look at future building needs

The Fremont School Board has called for a feasibility study to lay out options that could meet the district’s future building needs.

Superintendent Byron Stutzman said new high school facilities will probably be needed in the South Fremont region of St. Anthony within the next five years. The district expects to pay off bonds on a North Fremont High School building in Ashton as early as 2023. He is optimistic new facilities can be built using a new bond issue, without significant increases in current property tax levy rates.

The district would like the study completed by 2022.
