Police link Soda Springs bank robber to Jackson bank robbery

Police say the 37-year-old man responsible for the bank robbery in Soda Springs on March 25 is also responsible for the robbery of the Bank of Jackson Hole in Jackson on February 4.

The Jackson Police Department, the FBI and Soda Springs Police Department were able to link robberies because Kevin Martinez robbed the banks in a similar manner. He passed a note to the teller demanding the money.

Martinez is currently in custody in the Caribou County, Idaho jail related to the robbery of the Ireland Bank in Soda Springs.

Charges for the Jackson robbery are pending.
