Highway 55 closed due to landslide
The Idaho Transportation Department has closed Idaho Highway 55, between Banks and Smiths Ferry. northeast of Horseshoe Bend in Boise County.
A landslide filled the highway with rock, dirt, and debris that measures roughly 15 feet deep.
ITD said the slide will take many hours to clear.
