I-15 construction work to begin Friday

In addition to the usual Friday afternoon traffic, the Idaho Transportation Department plans to begin road rehabilitation work on Interstate 15 from the I-15-86 junction north of Pocatello to the Ft. Hall boundary. The work will involve four miles of roadway and will be completed by the end of July.

Beginning Friday, drivers will switch to single-lane, two-way traffic as construction progresses on the northbound lanes.

Since delays are expected, drivers are encouraged to use US-91 / Yellowstone Highway as a temporary alternate route.
