Jackson Hole students recognized

More than 150 Teton County seniors were granted $820,000 in scholarships during “Scholarship Night” at Jackson Hole High School Tuesday.

Counselor Emily Hoffer said the night was intended to celebrate student accomplishments, plans, goals, and experiences.

“These scholarships provide clear evidence of the pride our community takes in our students and their education,” said Hoffer. “We are so appreciative of our partners – not only for the financial investment they make, but for the hours they spend reading student applications, reviewing artwork, sitting on interview committees, and making the often tough decision to pick just one or two. To students these awards represent monetary support as well as belief in them and their futures.”
