Idaho governor appoints new member of Idaho House

Republican Gov. Brad Little has appointed Megan Kiska to a seat in the Idaho House of Representatives.

Little announced the appointment Tuesday. Kiska replaces former Rep. Tom Dayley, a Republican from Boise.

Kiska is the inspector general and real property officer for the 124th Fighter Wing in the Idaho Air National Guard. She is a graduate of California State University, Hayward.

Dayley resigned earlier this year after being appointed by President Donald Trump to serve as state director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency for Idaho.
