Cowboys determine who can draw their gun the fastest

Men, women, and youth competed July 20 and 21 to find out who can draw their gun the fastest.

This is the 9th year competition has been held in Idaho Falls at Eagle Rock Outlaws Hideout.

Competitors from throughout the region used western six-shooter guns and dressed up for the part.

Jim Gyorfy said the event is more than just a gunfight. “It’s more fun than it is a competition as our saying goes it’s fun, it’s enjoyable, with all of our friends and there are no real losers,” said Gyorfy.

They said about 60 people participated in the competition.
