Body recovered from American Falls Reservoir

UPDATE: 8-12 11:49 a.m. The Power County Sheriff’s Office along with several other agencies recovered a body from American Falls Reservoir Monday around 9:44 a.m.

The body of Bradley Miller was located and recovered after extensive search efforts were made.

The Power County Sheriff’s Office extends its condolences out to the families affected in this tragic time.

The Power County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a Pocatello man who dove into the water at the American Falls Reservoir and did not resurface.

The victim was identified as 53-year-old Bradley Miller.

The Power County Search and Rescue Dive Team was called to the scene at around 12:45 pm Sunday. Bingham County Search and Rescue and the Power County Marine Patrol also joined the search effort.

At this time, the Sheriff’s Office said the “mission has shifted to a recovery effort.”
