Missing man’s body found in river
The Bingham County Sheriff’s Office reports a 48-year-old Pocatello man’s body was recovered from the river on August 5.
Bingham County Sheriff’s deputies located the body of a white male floating in the river upstream of the Tilden boat ramp. Detectives say he had no identification on him.
On August 06, an autopsy was performed, and the results are pending.
Detectives were able to identify the body as Johnny R. Johnson. Pocatello Police had reported him missing around August 1.
Foul play is not suspected at this time.
