Man charged for the murder of Stephanie Eldredge pleads not guilty

Kenneth R. Jones, the man accused of murdering Stephanie Eldredge in 2007 was in court for his arraignment hearing today.

In court, Jones pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder.

Eldredge was reported as a missing person in 2007 and her body was found almost three years later in 2010 in the foothills of Idaho Falls.

If convicted, Jones could face up to life in prison.

Due to the complexity of this case, a status conference was scheduled for October 22.
