EIRMC launching new logo and mission

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center has adopted a new mission statement and a logo that should fit easier on a sign.

The hospital’s new mission statement is: “Above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life.” Administrators will use its infrastructure to provide advanced training, recruit specialized physicians, invest in state-of-the-art technology, and develop clinical protocols for patient care.

Its new logo incorporates the universal symbol for health care. The depiction of a “cross” is intended to identify EIRMC as a hospital that helps and heals people.

EIRMC undertook a months-long effort to meet with focus groups and learn their perspective about the hospital and its logo. Among the findings; very few people actually call the hospital by its full name.

EIRMC is part of HCA Healthcare, the largest hospital and health care provider in the world. It maintains 300 patient beds in Idaho Falls.
