South Fremont firefighters control 2 field fires

The South Fremont Fire Department was called to two separate field fires Saturday afternoon.

A stubble field in Newdale and a grain field in Wilford were contained before causing any damage. The fire department reported the owner of the grain field was able to disc a line around one edge of the fire, allowing the fire department to concentrate on the other side of the fire.
