Conspiracy added to charges against Alfaro & Rodriguez-Romero

In Bannock County Court Wednesday, Judge Aaron Thompson sided with the state on two motions to amend — one to include conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and a second to strike a previously filed amendment — in the case again Dustin Alfaro and Issac Rodriguez-Romero.

The teenagers are charged with murdering 87-year-old Arlyne Koehler inside her Pocatello home in March.

Alfaro is slated to be back in court on Sept. 3 for his preliminary hearing. Rodriguez-Romero will have his on Sept. 5-6.
