Why you should take a photo of your child before you go to a big event like the EISF

Blackfoot Police are reminding parents and guardians to take a photo of their child the same day they go to a big event like the Eastern Idaho State Fair.

This will help foot patrol, bike patrol, detectives and unformed officers to locate a lost child faster if they are separated from their parents or guardians.

Taking the picture the same day allows officers to know exactly what to look for and increase the chances of locating the lost child faster.
