“Carnival Eats” Host Noah Cappe Films Episode at EISF

The host of the popular, hit cable show “Carnival Eats” was at the Eastern Idaho State Fair early Friday morning to film an upcoming episode of the show.

Food Network star Noah Cappe was gracious enough to give us an exclusive interview, previewing one of the foods that might be featured in that next episode, the Ice Cream Baked Potato, which took first place in the “Fairest Sweets” category, created by Mama and Papa Leo.

“We’ve been trying to get here for a few years, now,” Cappe said. “This is one of those fairs people have been saying we have to experience. The schedule hasn’t worked, but this year, it did! We’re here, and I have a belly full of deep-fried goodness!”

Cappe alone has cracked more than 700 foods on the show so far, and loves every city he visits.

“You can’t just say, ‘what’s the biggest or the best,'” he responded after we asked him if he has a fair food favorite.

However, there is one thing the seasoned, fair food expert most likely won’t be reaching for at your next party – Tootsie Rolls.

Right now it’s still under wraps when the segment will air, but you can always catch the show on the Cooking Channel and the Food Network, with a schedule that can be found by clicking here.
